A red and black round hanging flower vase handcrafted by ceramic artist Miki Furusho at her studio near Tokyo.
Furusho carefully combines a plain Shigaraki clay with a clay dug by hand from the Izu Peninsula in Japan to create a layered pattern that links to the ancient craft of pottery, also holding a contemporary calm that comes through thanks to the simplicity in her design.
Please note: These pieces are handmade and feature small markings from the making process. Each one is one of a kind and may differ from the photos seen here (especially the tone in the clay can go from red to grey to white). Shipped from the maker’s studio in Japan.
